Please join the Oxford and Cambridge Society of Toronto in our "Fire Side Chat" series, welcoming Professor Neil MacFarlane on the Situation in Ukraine, Friday, March 28^th, 6pm

Neil MacFarlane is the Lester B. Parson Professor of International Relations at Oxford University. After a career in the United States and in Canada, he moved to Oxford in 1996 and served as Head of the Department of Politics and International Relations from 2005 to 2010, and Deputy Head of the Social Sciences Division from 2008 to 2010.

Neil has spent over twenty years studying the evolution of international relations in the former Soviet Union. He is currently working on a book about the international relations of that region, with a particular emphasis on Russian policy towards its neighbours. Neil will share with us some of his thoughts about the current situation in Ukraine, and the latest developments in its relationship with Russia, in what promises to be a fascinating fireside chat.
