City Voices Book Launch - December 19, 2012

Dear fellow alums,
I know it’s a busy time of year, but if you’re free this coming Wednesday night, please join me for the launch party of a book I’ve been working on!
City Voices: A Book of Monologues by Toronto Artists is an anthology of theatrical monologues, spoken word, poetry and prose featuring work by some of our most interesting contemporary local writers. These writers, some emerging and some established, range in age from 13 to well into their golden years, and their pieces are incredibly diverse in content and style.
Our launch party will feature readings from the collection, some live music, and a DJ later in the night. If you can’t make it but are interested in the project, the book is available for purchase via our website www.cityvoices.ca, and at select local bookstores (including TheatreBooks and Glad Day Bookshop).  I’m biased, of course, but I think it makes a great present for any theatre- or book-lovers on your holiday shopping list.
Happy holidays!
