Book Reading by Marianne Apostolides '94 at Harbourfront - May 2 2012

Marianne Apostolides '94 will be at Harbourfront to read from her new book, Voluptuous Pleasure: The Truth about the Writing Life. She is the author of four books, including the novels Swim and The Lucky Child, which was longlisted for a ReLit Award. Apostolides is a recipient of the 2011 Chalmers Arts Fellowship.

Class of 2016 Reception - April 22 2012


Dear Alumni, Parents and Friends:

Please join us on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 for our annual Spring Reception to meet and welcome the newly admitted students from our area, and their families. The event will take place at the Royal Ontario Museum, in the RBC Glass Room on the fourth floor. Guest speaker Sheila Kohler is an award-winning writer and lecturer on Creative Writing at Princeton's Lewis Center for the Arts. This year we are inviting potential Class of '16 students who have been offered admission but may not necessarily have confirmed acceptance. Accordingly, this reception is an opportunity for us to assist the students make this important decision by putting on the Tiger charm.

Please mark your calendars for our annual Spring Reception to meet and welcome the newly admitted students from our area and their families. We have set the date to April 22, 2012 and we are still working out the details regarding the location and RSVP. As with past years, the reception will be held from 2 - 4pm on Sunday Afternoon. The location will be a centrally-located venue in downtown Toronto.
