Our Speaker is Professor Jeffry Stock who will be giving the following talk:
Title: Princeton biotechnology and the development of novel pharmaceuticals to treat neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s
Description: Basic research at Princeton University on the biochemistry of cellular regulation and signal transduction has provided a foundation for the development of new classes of pharmaceuticals for the treatment of chronic diseases of aging such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. In his talk, Dr. Stock describes the progress of Signum Biosciences Inc., a biotech founded several years ago with a mission to apply results from academic research at Princeton to practical applications for the maintenance of health and the treatment of disease.
