Northwestern Faculty Speaker Event: Revolution in the Middle East

Join alumni from top universities outside of Canada on Thursday, May 12, for a timely and fascinating discussion on the most important developments in the Middle East in the last 30 years.

Northwestern Political Science Professor Wendy Pearlman, the Crown Junior Chair in Middle East Studies, will explore the causes, mechanisms, and implications of the recent surge of popular protest and political transformations sweeping across the Arab world. Putting these momentous changes in their historical context, Prof. Pearlman will go beyond the headlines to discuss what these historic events mean for the Middle East and for us.

This event will be held at the Park Hyatt Hotel at Avenue Rd. and Bloor. A reception to meet and network with your fellow alumni will be followed by Prof. Pearlman's presentation and discussion.
